BattleFin Discovery Day is an event that brings together managers and investors in one place to facilitate relationships. The goal of the event is to put the right investors in front of the right managers. Informational sessions can be helpful but managers need capital and investors need alpha producing investment strategies. A blend of both is the winning combination.
BattleFin is looking for the differentiated investment strategies for our tournaments and our asset management business. We are actively meeting with managers at the event.
An online meeting portal is used to allow investors and managers to connect directly and set up meetings. The 15 minute speed seed format is used in the morning and slightly longer 30 minute 1 on 1 meeting formats are used in the afternoon, ensuring a large number of meetings is facilitated.
BattleFin uses Early IQ background checks to verify managers that are attending the event and vigorously screens potential investor attendees.
A networking reception is held at the end of the event. The goal is to Collect Capital, not Business Cards.
