Neil Seeman

Neil Seeman is Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Privacy Officer and Chairman of RIWI Corp. He leads overall Company strategy and leads RIWI work in global security data solutions to assess, predict, prevent and eradicate violent extremism. Neil invented RIWI’s core intellectual property. He is the author or co-author of hundreds of articles in major media around the world, more than 30 peer-reviewed journal papers and several books and monographs. Prior to RIWI, he was Founder and Executive Director of the Innovation Cell. At IBM Canada, Neil specialized in commercial applications of online sentiment data. He has taught on healthcare and informatics issues at Ryerson University and is currently a Massey College Senior Fellow teaching on knowledge transfer and the Web at the University of Toronto. Neil holds a bachelor’s degree from Queen’s University, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard.
