Ihor Dusaniwsky

Head of Predictive Analytics, S3 Partners

Ihor Dusaniwsky is the Head of Predictive Analytics at S3. One of the first employees at the firm, Ihor joined S3 in 2003 after spending many years as a senior stock loan trader. He uses his extensive knowledge and relationships in domestic and international stock loan markets to provide insight and market color to S3’s clients. Ihor publishes research on the short side of the market and develops internal systems and algorithms which help S3’s clients manage their portfolios and gain insight into world-wide short selling activity and financing trends.

Prior to joining S3 Partners, Ihor was the Senior Equity Finance Trader at Commerzbank Capital Markets and Global Head of Agency Lending at Morgan Stanley. Prior to his role in securities finance, Ihor was the Global Head of FX Controllers and the Equity & Derivatives Controller at Morgan Stanley. During his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Ihor worked in the New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and London offices. Ihor received a B.A. in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from New York University and majored in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.

Boris Spiwak is Director of Marketing at Thinknum Alternative Data and KgBase. He previously worked as a Financial Manager at Procter & Gamble's EMEA HQ in Geneva, Switzerland, and as VP Finance in one of Colombia's largest hotel chains. Boris holds degrees in Political Economy and Finance from Princeton, the London School of Economics, and HEC Paris. Originally from Venezuela, Boris has lived in over half a dozen countries. He enjoys cycling and is an investor in La Leyenda.

Marc X. LoPresti, Esq. is a Wall Street veteran with over 20 years’ experience in the asset management industry, having started his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange working for Lehman Brothers. In addition to being founder of LoPresti Law Group, PC (“LLG”), he is: co-founder and Board Member, BattleFin Group, LLC; Executive Committee, Ranger Global Real Estate Advisors, LLC; Management Committee, Alternative Capital Advisors, LLC; Executive Committee, Low Emission Resources Corp.; co-founder and managing director, IDI Group (a multi-family office VC platform). Marc is also a recognized authority on securities laws and alternative investment management appearing regularly on CNBC and other financial news networks including Bloomberg, Fox and international financial news networks. He graduated from New York Law School in 1997. Marc and his team also assist BattleFin and the BattleFin community with developing policies and procedures for complying with the ever-changing landscape of regulation impacting buyers and sellers in the data industry.
