Maria Mähl is Partner of Arabesque Group, a global group of financial technology companies offering sustainable investment, advisory, and data services through advanced ESG and AI capabilities. Maria has worked with global leaders in the private, public and civil society sectors on policy development, investments strategies, operational excellence, program development and business development across industries in European, Asian, African, and American markets. Prior to joining Arabesque, Maria held senior positions at Volvo, Capgemini, the UN, and the Clinton Global Initiative. A native of Sweden, Maria has been awarded as one of Sweden's most powerful women in business world by Veckan's Affärer as well as was one of the leading sustainability leaders. Maria attended Humboldt University Berlin, Berlin Institute of Technology, and Uppsala University in Sweden and holds a B.Sc. in Political Science and a M.Sc. in Business and Economics. She resides in New York with her family.

Use this data to expose issues in companies' supply chain/labor force, and calculate scope 3 emissions across their supply chain, which can be used to screen out negative performers from a portfolio or indicate a company is high risk.
