Why Listen?
Tom is a 10-year veteran of IMDb, previously heading up operations for the global content organization and now focused on licensing IMDb's authoritative database of entertainment information to power third-party commercial services and solutions.
IMDb's licensed content includes essential metadata for more 7 million movies, TV/OTT shows and video games; 10 million cast, crew and entertainment professionals; global box office grosses; a billion 1-10 star ratings from fans globally and more. IMDb-powered solutions include rich and relevant recommendations and content discovery features; intelligent investment decisions; and competitive content acquisition/programming strategic insights.
Tom is a Brit living in Hollywood, so when he’s not talking about IMDb you’ll find him on the beach (even when it’s ‘cold for LA’) or enthusiastically visiting movie locations (via the IMDb app).
Ed heads Similarweb's Global Investor Solutions business. Ed joined Similarweb three years ago and has been spearheading the solution to help investors integrate Digital Alternative Data into their investment research. He has also worked with many of the world's leading brands, shaping their digital strategies through market intelligence data.
Prior to SimilarWeb, Ed started his career in Investment Banking in London, working at Rothschild and DC Advisory.
Steven's most recent experience is with CMAG, a unit of Kantar. He's demonstrated the ability to enter a firm, add expertise to its sales operation, drive results, and be promoted to a general management role in a short period of time. He is currently leading a team of six analysts, account managers, and operations professionals providing political ad occurrence data to political parties, campaign committees, media firms (editorial and sales), political agencies, analytic firms, and consultancies that have a stake in analyzing advertising by political concerns, advocacy groups and trade organizations.
He has also played a key role in strategic consulting projects across the globe for trade associations, media companies, and investors. For example, Steven helped sell, develop and deliver a digital media plan for a company involved in classic car auctions around the US.
